It's tuned to sound better than its best, with a modified tube stage and eliminated fan noise!
The unique Hartke architecture features a tube and transistor mixer, two band-axle style knobs to control the sound/color, an EQ to eliminate any remaining problems, and a compressor / limiter !
You'll discover a powerful sound that's very easy to control and modify, with or without tube input, which ranges from straight/neutral to rounder, compressed/colored, depending on your needs, to bring out your playing.

Usable with the 15" or the 4X10, our Hartke demonstrates its versatility for a wide range of bass sounds, from AMPEG to TRACE ELLIOT.
We can also achieve even more tube texture if desired by adding the JEGOU stage in clean mode to achieve the AMPEG color in particular.
